what to expect during our OP 🤝

free water/biscuits 💦🍪
we’ll provide either of the two: water or light snacks whenever two of our organizers are available. since we also balance work and studies, there may be times when we’re unable to prepare them. we appreciate your understanding!

PICKLEBALL OPEN PLAY GUIDELINES

to keep our Open Play fun, organized, and enjoyable for everyone, please follow these simple guidelines:

⚾︎ payment first, paddle in!
please complete your payment first before stacking your paddle and joining the games. this helps us keep the slots organized and fair for everyone.

⚾︎ be early!
please arrive on time for your scheduled slot. if you’re more than 30 minutes late, your slot may be given to waitlisted players.

⚾︎ wear proper attire
please wear comfortable and appropriate sportswear and proper court shoes suitable for pickleball.

⚾︎ bring your own paddle
players are encouraged to bring their own paddle. if you don’t have one, please coordinate with the organizers ahead of time to check if a paddle is available to rent.

⚾︎ warm-up / dinking:
each game will have only 1 minute of warm-up/dinking before play begins.

⚾︎ games are played up to 11 points
all games will be played up to 11 points. please follow the assigned rotation so everyone gets a fair opportunity to play.

⚾︎ no-show policy!
players who no-show without informing us before the freeze time are still required to pay the ₱150 fee. your reserved slot is held exclusively for you and could have been given to another player from the walk-in or waitlist.

⚾︎ practice good sportsmanship
play fairly, stay positive, and respect the spirit of the game. winning is great, but having fun and building a good community is what matters most.

⚾︎ respect everyone
treat all players with respect, regardless of their skill level. encourage one another, avoid unnecessary arguments, and help create a welcoming environment for everyone.

⚾︎ keep the rotation fair
please follow the Open Play rotation and be mindful of other players waiting for their turn. let’s make sure everyone gets a chance to play.

⚾︎ have fun!
come with a good attitude, enjoy the game, meet new people, and most importantly—have fun on the court!
