Format: 22 players · 3 courts · 2 hours · Doubles (rotating)


THE CLIMB
Players are ranked across 3 courts. VIP2 is the top, Court 3 is the entry. Win to climb, lose to drop.

• COURT VIP2 (top) Win → stay on VIP2 | Lose → drop to 2
• COURT 2 (middle) Win → up to VIP2 | Lose → down to Court 3
• COURT 3 (entry) Win → up to 2 | Lose → stay on Court 3

Courts 3 and VIP2 are anchors — you can't fall below Court 3 or climb above VIP2. Reach VIP2 and hold it. 🏆


SCORING
• Games to 15, NO DEUCE — at 14–14, the next point wins.
• Rally scoring: every rally scores a point.


BEFORE YOU PLAY (QUICK CALLS)
• Ceiling is out — a ball that hits the ceiling ends the rally.
• Serves: the receiver's call stands. If unsure, re-serve.
• Try to split partners where you can. Got a preferred partner? Check it's ok with your opponents first.


ENDING THE SESSION
• Last Round: ~10–15 min before the 2-hour mark, a "Last Round" is called. No new games start after that.
• Final whistle: when time's up, the team leading the current game takes the win. Finish the rally in play, then we're done.
• The team playing on VIP2 in the last round plays for the title. Champions = the winning team there.


QUEUES & LATE ARRIVALS
• Round 1: the first 12 players take the 3 courts (4 per court). Extra players sitting out (byes) are split evenly across the 3 courts and wait in each court's own queue.
• Each court runs its own queue — when a game finishes, the next waiting team rotates in, and any team arriving from another court joins the back of that queue.
• Newcomers / late arrivals: once Round 1 is underway and byes are allocated, any latecomers join the Court 1 queue (the lowest court) and climb from there.


HOUSE RULES
1. Slot confirmation — Once you're waitlisted, pay to confirm your slot.
2. Cancellations — Allowed up to 12 hours before the game. Please find a replacement if you can — keeps the ladder full and games flowing. 🙏
3. Rain or shine — The court is covered, so we play regardless of weather. No weather cancellations.
