OPEN PLAY GUIDELINES

Welcome to ESLA Pickleball Society! 🎾

We are a community-based pickleball club built around sportsmanship, friendship, fitness, and fun. We aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the game, improve their skills, and build stronger community connections.

⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM (4 hours for 3 courts)

💰 PAYMENT DETAILS

Open Play Fee: ₱150 per player
Paddle Rental: ₱50 per paddle per open play ‼️ Limited Availability!
💧 Mineral water will be provided.

🧾 SLOT CONFIRMATION & PLAYER LIMIT

- Maximum Capacity: 24 players only.
- Slot Allocation: 14 slots for Reclub and 10 slots for the Messenger Group Chat.
- No Payment, No Play: Players must complete their payment and submit proof of payment to secure their slots.
- Payment Confirmation: Your slot will only be confirmed once your payment and proof of payment have been received.
- Unpaid Reservations: Unpaid reservations will remain unconfirmed and will not be guaranteed a slot. Slots may be offered to other players.

Please secure your slot early, as availability is limited. Once all 24 slots are filled, registration will be closed.

🔁 CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Eligible for a refund: Players who notify the hosts of their cancellation at least 24 hours before the scheduled start of open play may request a refund of their ₱150 participation fee.

Non-refundable cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session, no-shows, and failure to attend will not be eligible for a refund.

🚨 LIABILITY WAIVER

By signing up for and participating in this pickleball open play, participants acknowledge that they are joining at their own risk and understand that pickleball involves physical activity that may result in injuries, accidents, or damage to personal belongings.

ESLA Pickleball Society and its organizers shall not be held liable for injuries, illnesses, accidents, or loss of personal belongings arising from the inherent risks of participation, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable Philippine law.

By joining the event, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to this waiver.

🏓 PADDLE STACKING & COURT ROTATION

To ensure fair play and equal court time for everyone, ESLA Pickleball Society will implement a paddle stacking system during open play.

- Paddle Stacking: Players must place their paddles in the designated paddle queue area upon arrival or after finishing a game to secure their place in the playing rotation.
- First In, First Out: Players will be called to play based on the order of their paddles in the stack.
- Court Assignment: Players must wait until their group is called before entering an available court.
- Rotation: After each game, players must follow the designated rotation system and return their paddles to the appropriate queue position, as instructed by the organizers.
- Fair Play: Cutting the queue, moving another player's paddle, or reserving spots unfairly is not allowed.
- Organizer's Guidance: Please follow the instructions of the assigned queue marshal or organizer to keep the games organized and ensure everyone gets a fair chance to play.
