📋 OFFICIAL PLAYER ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS

To maintain fair and competitive matches, all participating players must meet the following eligibility requirements.

1️⃣ COMBINED DUPR RATING

✅ The combined DUPR rating of both players must NOT exceed 7.0.

2️⃣ MAXIMUM INDIVIDUAL DUPR

✅ The higher-rated (dominant) player's tournament DUPR rating must NOT exceed 3.7.

3️⃣ DUPR ACCOUNT REQUIREMENT

✅ Both players must have active DUPR accounts.

✅ Players without an established DUPR rating (Unrated/NR) are allowed to participate, subject to eligibility verification.

4️⃣ DUPR RELIABILITY REQUIREMENTS

✅ Players with 80% DUPR Reliability or higher shall use their actual DUPR rating.

✅ Players with below 80% DUPR Reliability shall automatically be assigned a tournament DUPR rating of 3.0, regardless of their displayed rating.

✅ Players with NO DUPR RATING (Unrated/NR) shall also be assigned an initial tournament DUPR rating of 3.0.

✅ Assigned ratings apply only to tournament eligibility calculations and do not change official DUPR ratings.

📌 IMPORTANT: All combined and individual rating limits shall be calculated using the applicable tournament DUPR ratings.

5️⃣ PLAYER CLASSIFICATION

✅ All participating players must be classified as LOW INTERMEDIATE-LEVEL PLAYERS.

❌ Players classified ABOVE LOW INTERMEDIATE level are NOT ELIGIBLE, regardless of their DUPR rating.

⚠️ A qualifying DUPR rating does not automatically establish a player's skill classification.

6️⃣ PREVIOUS TOURNAMENT ACHIEVEMENTS

🚫 NOT ELIGIBLE:

❌ Players who have previously won 2x CHAMPION in any Low Intermediate category or higher.

❌ Players who have previously finished as RUNNER-UP in any High Intermediate category or higher.

❌ Players classified above Low Intermediate level.

✅ ELIGIBLE:

✔️ Players who previously finished as RUNNER-UP in a Low Intermediate category or lower.

✔️ Players who previously finished as CHAMPION in a Low Intermediate category only ONCE.

📌 Previous tournament achievements are evaluated PER PLAYER, not per team.

Changing partners does not reset a player's previous tournament achievements.

All eligible players must still satisfy the remaining tournament qualifications.

7️⃣ ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION

✅ Both players are subject to eligibility verification by the Tournament Committee.

✅ Verification may include:

▪️ DUPR ratings

▪️ DUPR Reliability scores

▪️ Player skill classification

▪️ Previous tournament results

▪️ Previous championship achievements

▪️ Playing history and competitive experience

✅ Meeting the DUPR requirements does NOT automatically guarantee eligibility.

✅ The Tournament Committee reserves the right to request supporting information, records, or evidence to verify a player's qualifications.

⚠️ Final eligibility shall be determined by the Tournament Committee following verification and review.

🚨 MISDECLARATION, DISQUALIFICATION & FORFEITURE

All players must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during registration.

Any intentional misdeclaration, falsification, concealment, or misleading information regarding DUPR ratings, reliability, player classification, previous tournament achievements, or playing history may result in:

❌ IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION

Players found violating the eligibility requirements may be immediately disqualified.

❌ NO REFUND

Registration fees shall be forfeited upon disqualification due to intentional misdeclaration or falsification.

❌ NO PLAYER REPLACEMENT

Substitution of disqualified players is strictly prohibited.

❌ NO TRANSFER OF ENTRY

Registration slots cannot be transferred to another player or team.

⚠️ The Tournament Committee's decision shall be final following verification and review of the available evidence.

✅ STEP 8: Wait for official payment verification and confirmation of your tournament slot.
