3: Vintage 7-ply wooden paddle is provided, FREE to use.

In celebration of pickleball’s 60th anniversary, the PPA has organized a special tournament in 2025 featuring an all-wooden paddle event. In this event, all players use traditional wooden paddles, just as the founders of the game did six decades ago. These 7-ply, 9-ounce, smooth-faced paddles reduce spin and power, forcing a slower game with a focus on control, strategy, and smaller sweet spots.

Inspired by this, we are offering a Vintage 7-ply wooden paddle for the games—FREE to use. Participation is OPTIONAL, and all players must agree to use the wooden paddle before the game starts.

Come join us, have fun, and enjoy the unique experience of playing with a vintage wooden paddle!
