Whether you're picking up a paddle for the first time, still learning the basics, or already enjoying competitive games, everyone is welcome.
Please take a moment to read and follow the guidelines below.
📋 COMMUNITY RULES & GUIDELINES
1. 💳 PAYMENT POLICY
NO PAY, NO PLAY
Payment must be completed before playing which depends on the venue
OPEN PLAY FEE
👥 Members-150
& Non-Members — ₱170
All reclub joiners will be waitlisted first, after you send send your payment thats the time we confirm your slot as official player for the open play.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
Confirmed players are generally non-refundable.
A refund or credit may be considered when:
Cancellation is made at least 2 hours before game time; or
The session is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a continuous power outage or heavy rain during outdoor play
2. 📱 RECLUB IDENTIFICATION
To help organizers properly identify players and manage schedules:
Use your complete/full name in Reclub.
Upload a clear and recognizable profile photo.
Avoid using nicknames or incomplete names when registering.
Please ensure your registration information is accurate.
3. ⚠️ DROPPER POLICY
A “Dropper” refers to a player who:
Cancels at the last minute without sufficient notice; or
Fails to attend a confirmed Open Play session without informing the organizers.
DROPPER STATUS
A Dropper tag will remain for 3 weeks.
During this period, the player may not receive priority when slots are being allocated.
Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in additional scheduling restrictions.
We understand that emergencies happen. If you cannot attend, please inform the organizers as early as possible.
4. 🏟️ COURT ALLOCATION
Standard allocation: 12 players per court.
Maximum allocation: 15 players per court, depending on the session setup and organizer approval.
Players must follow their assigned court and rotation system.
Court assignments may be adjusted by organizers when necessary to maintain a smooth and balanced session.
5. 🤝 PLAYER CONDUCT
We want our community to be a place where everyone feels welcome, respected, and comfortable learning the game.
All players are expected to:
Respect fellow players regardless of skill level.
Welcome and encourage beginners.
Respect organizers, venue staff, and facilities.
Avoid arguments, offensive language, bullying, or unsportsmanlike behavior.
Avoid intentionally distracting or intimidating other players.
Return balls and keep the court area clean.
Follow organizer instructions regarding court assignments and rotations.
Resolve disagreements calmly and respectfully.

Competitive play is encouraged. Respectful play is required.
Remember: We're here to play, learn, improve, and have fun together.
6. ⏰ ATTENDANCE & PUNCTUALITY
Please arrive early enough to prepare before your scheduled play.
Players who are running late should inform the organizers.
Failure to arrive without notice may result in No-Show / Dropper status and 3 weeks without priority.
Repeated lateness or no-shows may affect future slot priority.
If you know you cannot attend, please cancel your slot as early as possible so another player can have the opportunity to play.
7. 🏓 EQUIPMENT & COURT CARE
Bring your own paddle whenever possible.
Use club or venue equipment properly.
Do not intentionally damage or misuse equipment.
Treat paddles, nets, balls, and other facilities with care.
Report damaged equipment or unsafe court conditions to the organizers immediately.
🎾 GAME FORMAT
Games are played to 11 points.
Win by 2 points applies during deuce situations.
Players must follow the assigned court and rotation system.
Please be ready when your name or paddle is called for the next game.
Be considerate of players who are still learning and developing their skills.
🌱 REMEMBER
We were all beginners once.
Help new players learn, encourage your fellow players, and keep the game enjoyable for everyone.
🔄 ROTATION SYSTEM
We use a Winners • Losers • Queue rotation system to keep games organized and give players a fair opportunity to play.
🏆 WINNERS
After your game, place your paddle in the Winners Area.
Winners will be paired with other available players according to the rotation.
Please allow the rotation system to determine the next game.
🎯 LOSERS
After your game, place your paddle in the Losers Area.
Losers will be paired with other available players according to the rotation.
⏳ QUEUE
The Queue is for players who prefer to wait for a particular partner or opponent.
Players in the Queue may request to play with a friend when their turn comes.
Queue requests are subject to availability and the overall rotation.
⚠️ Please do not move paddles between areas without following the rotation system or without organizer approval.
🌟 BEGINNER-FRIENDLY COMMUNITY
Being a beginner is not something to be embarrassed about.
At Always Beginners' Calbayog Pickleball Community, we encourage players to:
Ask questions.
Learn from one another.
Give helpful and respectful feedback.
Be patient with new players.
Celebrate improvement, not just winning.
Make every game an opportunity to learn something new.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE & ASSUMPTION OF RESPONSIBILITY
Participation in Open Play is voluntary.
Players are responsible for their own health, physical condition, equipment, and personal belongings while participating.
The organizers and venue are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, or for injuries or incidents arising during participation, except to the extent that such responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
By joining an Open Play session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these rules and guidelines.
