Entrance Fee: Included in the OP Fee — no need to pay separately at the entrance.


HOW THE DUPR GAMES WORK?

DUPR GAMES OPEN PLAY — OFFICIAL MECHANICS

1. Registration and Player Eligibility

* All participants must have a Synced DUPR account.
* Players must provide their current DUPR profile or DUPR ID during registration.
* Match assignments will be based on players’ DUPR ratings to promote balanced and competitive games.
* Players must check in before the scheduled start of the event.

2. Match Pairing and Leveling

* The organizers will assign matches based on the players’ DUPR ratings.
* Players will be grouped with opponents of comparable playing levels whenever possible.
* Match assignments will consider the combined DUPR ratings of each doubles team to promote competitive matchups.
* The organizers reserve the right to adjust pairings when necessary due to attendance, rating gaps, or court availability.

3. Partner Rotation Rules

* Each player may partner with the same player a maximum of TWO (2) times throughout the event.
* Players are encouraged to play with different partners across rounds.
* The organizers will monitor partner assignments to ensure compliance with the two-time partner limit.
* Opponents may vary between matches, even when a player partners with someone for a second time.
* All partner assignments are subject to the organizers’ final approval.

4. Match Rules and Scoring

* All matches will be played in doubles format.
* Players must follow the scoring system and match format announced by the organizers before the games begin.
* Both teams must verify and agree on the final score before submitting the result.
* Players must demonstrate sportsmanship and respect their opponents throughout the event.

5. DUPR Match Results

* All match scores must be recorded accurately.
* Results will be submitted to DUPR only when the matches meet the platform’s applicable requirements.
* Players are responsible for ensuring that their DUPR profiles are correctly identified.
* A submitted result does not guarantee an immediate rating change.

6. Player Conduct and Event Management

* Players must follow their assigned match schedules and court assignments.
* Players should be ready to play when called by the organizers.
* Any scoring disputes must be raised with the organizers before results are submitted.
* The organizers reserve the right to modify match assignments to ensure fairness, efficiency, and smooth event operations.
* Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in removal from the event at the organizers’ discretion.

7. Final Reminder

The goal of the Dinkmates PH DUPR Games Open Play is to provide a competitive, organized, and enjoyable playing experience while encouraging partner diversity and fair matchups based on DUPR ratings.


CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

• STRICTLY NO REFUND. However, you may sell or transfer your slot.
• If you can no longer attend, you may send a substitute to take your slot.
• Please inform the organizers in advance if you will be sending a substitute.

VENUE RULES

• No outside food or drinks allowed.
• No pets allowed inside the venue.
• Please keep the courts and common areas clean.
• Respect the venue, equipment, and fellow players.

SAFETY & LIABILITY WAIVER

By joining this Open Play, you acknowledge that pickleball is a physical activity with inherent risks, including injuries from falls, collisions, ball impact, or other accidents.

Participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being and are encouraged to play within their physical limits and use appropriate footwear and equipment.

By participating, you agree that Dinkmates PH, its organizers, hosts, and volunteers shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or accident arising from participation in the event, except where caused by proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Participants are also responsible for their personal belongings and valuables.

By confirming your slot and participating in the Open Play, you acknowledge and agree to these rules, terms, and waiver.
