A structured weekly program designed to elevate players from intermediate to a solid DUPR 3.0+ level through deliberate practice, tactical awareness, and mental conditioning. Each session builds on the last, creating a progressive pathway to consistent, confident play.

CORE PRINCIPLES

1. MASTERY OF TECHNIQUES THROUGH REPETITION
Consistent repetition builds muscle memory and confidence. Each session dedicates focused drilling time to four essential shots:

(a) Drive — Develop a powerful, controlled offensive shot from the baseline. Build proper mechanics, weight transfer, and follow-through for pace and accuracy.

(b) Reset — Learn to neutralize aggressive shots with a soft, controlled return into the kitchen. Master absorbing pace and redirecting with intention.

(c) Dink — Refine touch and patience at the kitchen line. Practice cross-court and straight-ahead dinks with placement, spin variation, and consistency.

(d) Fast Hands — Sharpen reflexes for rapid exchanges at the kitchen line. Develop compact swings, quick paddle positioning, and split-second decision-making.

2. SHOT SELECTION

Knowing WHAT shot to hit is as important as knowing HOW. Players will learn to read the court, assess opponent positioning, and choose the highest-percentage shot for every situation.

Key focus areas:
• When to drive vs. drop
• Recognizing attackable balls
• Using angles to create openings
• Avoiding unforced errors through smart choices
• Adapting shot selection based on score and momentum

3. POINT CONSTRUCTION

Points are won through patterns, not luck. This principle teaches players to build points systematically — from serve and return through transition to the finishing shot.

Key focus areas:
• Serve + third shot strategies
• Transition zone movement and shot sequencing
• Setting up put-away opportunities
• Maintaining pressure through consistent placement
• Understanding rally phases: neutral, offensive, defensive

4. MIND GAME

The mental side separates good players from great ones. Players will develop focus, composure, and competitive awareness that translates directly to match performance.

Key focus areas:
• Managing emotions during pressure points
• Staying present — point-by-point mentality
• Reading opponents' tendencies and body language
• Building confidence through preparation and routine
• Developing a pre-point ritual for consistency
• Turning mistakes into learning moments mid-match
