OPEN PLAY RULES AND POLICIES

1. REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

*Payment First Policy: Slots will only be secured upon payment.
*Players who prefer to pay in cash must inform the organizers in advance and confirm their attendance to reserve their slots.
* Players who cannot attend must inform the organizers at least 12 hours before the game.
* Unconfirmed slots may be given to waitlisted players.

2. ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY

* Players are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled open play.
* Missed games due to late arrival are not guaranteed to be rescheduled.
* Players must inform the organizers if they expect to arrive late.

3. GAME FORMAT AND RULES

* Random pairing via PickleQ
* All games will be played in doubles format.
* Games will follow a race-to-11 scoring system.
* No deuce; sudden death applies at 10–10.
* Players must switch sides when the leading team reaches 6 points.
* One ball will be provided per court. If the ball goes missing or is lost. Use your own balls.

4. PLAYER CATEGORIES AND RANKINGS

* Rankings will be based on the official scoring and ranking system announced by the organizers.
* locked-in players are ALLOWED but ineligible for Top Player rankings.

5. SPORTSMANSHIP AND COURT ETIQUETTE

* Respect fellow players, organizers, and venue personnel.
* Players are expected to make fair and honest line calls.
* Maintain a friendly and welcoming environment for players of all skill levels.

6. CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, AND RESCHEDULING

* Players who wish to cancel must notify the organizers at least 12 hours before the game.
* Payments are Non-Refundable but Transferable.
* In case of rain, unsafe court conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances, the organizers may suspend or reschedule games.

7. SAFETY AND PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

* Proper warm-up and hydration are encouraged.
* Players must prioritize safety and avoid reckless movements that could cause injuries.
* Players are responsible for securing their personal belongings.

8. GENERAL REMINDERS

* Free drinking water may be available at the venue. Players are encouraged to bring their own tumblers.
* Respect the venue’s rules and regulations.
* Above all, enjoy the games, meet new people, and practice good sportsmanship.
