Araw-Araw Pickleball ☀️ Beginners Community Competition 🎉

Welcome to our first Beginners-Only Pickleball Community Competition! This tournament is designed to be a fun, exciting, and supportive introduction to competitive play. If you've been looking for a low-pressure environment to play tournament-style matches, meet fellow players, and have a blast, this is for you!

🎯 A Note on Fairness (No Sandbagging!):
This event is a dedicated safe space for true beginners to experience the thrill of a tournament!

To keep games exciting and competitive for the right reasons, we have set the following strict guidelines:

➡️Mixed Doubles: Strictly capped at a DUPR of less than 3.0, and all players must meet the under-6-months playing criteria.
➡️Men’s Doubles: A DUPR above 3.0 is allowed, provided the player has been playing for less than 6 months.

To preserve a balanced field, the organizers reserve the right to vet entries and reject registrations for players who are clearly beyond the beginner level. Thank you for helping us keep it fair! 🧡

Note: Priority registration will be given to Cabangan locals.

👥 Tournament Format & Categories:

We are running two parallel categories with a strict cap of a maximum of 5 pairs per category. To ensure high energy and maximum play time, we are using the following structure:

Stage 1 (Round Robin): Every pair plays every other pair in their category once. This guarantees a minimum of 4 games per pair!

Stage 2 (Placement Finals): After the round robin, the top-ranked teams will face off for the final standings:

🏆Championship Match: Top 1 vs. Top 2 (Playing for 1st and 2nd place)
🥉Bronze Match: Top 3 vs. Top 4 (Playing for 3rd and 4th place)

Printed Certificates will be awarded to the Top 3 pairs! 📜
