Morning DUPR Session Reminders! ☀️🏓
Hi everyone! Looking forward to our session today. To keep things organized and running smoothly, please take note of the following:
1. Check-in: Please pay your 100 PHP at the front desk and list your name on their sheet before heading to the courts (it's on the right side when you enter).
2. Matchmaking (Updated): We will be using a traditional open play stacking system instead of Reclub matchmaking. To improve everyone's DUPR reliability scores, changing your partners as much as possible is highly encouraged! Let's mix it up and get a variety of matchups.
3. The Vibe (Updated): Chill vibes only! At the end of the day, we are all here to enjoy quality games and improve together. Please stay positive and mindful of others—not everyone is open to on-court criticism. Keep calm and play pickleball!
4. Requirements: Your Reclub account must be connected to your DUPR account before you join. This ensures a smooth process for everyone when we log the matches.
5. Logging Scores (Updated): Games are played to 11 (win by 2 once, then sudden death). To ensure all matches are logged, please approach the table and enter your scores directly into my tablet. If I am currently in a match and unavailable, please do not write them down (we are skipping the logbook to avoid illegible handwriting and aliases). Instead, post them directly in our Reclub chat using this exact format:
(Winning Player 1 / Winning Player 2) vs (Losing Player 1 / Losing Player 2) — Score: [Win/Loss]
6. Format (Updated): Great news! We are now semi-recognized as a recurring group by The Riverside Courts for our MWF sessions, meaning we will always have 2 courts ready for us. We can spill over onto the other 4 courts if they are open, but we must give way to players who have booked hourly slots or other open-play players who aren't part of our DUPR session
7. Enjoy: Thank you for joining! I’m organizing this to help our community grow, and I’m looking forward to more sessions (and maybe even dedicated court bookings) in the future. See you on the courts!
