Beginners DUPR Open play at PHQ
A fun but competitive pickleball open play event. Open to players with DUPR rating of 2.0 to 2.75. However, we will still group players within closer rating but also consider the reliability score.

Up to 2 groups of 20 players per group. Total of 40 players max.

IMPORTANT:

1. Please ensure that your DUPR is synced with your Reclub account.

2. Please ensure that your Self-Rating aligns with the skill category that you wish to join.

Players will be ranked based on their skills and will divided into 2 Groups. Red team & Blue Teams Each players WITHIN the same group will compete with each other.

Each player will have a minimum of 6 games.

*** Match Play Format:

LADDER

Players ranked and then grouped into 4, random pairing for 1st game.

Winners move up to the court on their left and partners with different players via rock-paper-scissors, losers move down to the court on their right and change partners as well.

*** Game Format:

Rally point scoring to 21 (sudden death if tied at 20), change court at 11.

Games will NOT be officiated, hence honesty and sportsmanship are expected from all players.

This DUPR Match Play needs all slots to be filled in. Otherwise, the activity will be canceled, and payments will be refunded.

ONCE CONFIRMED YOU ARE EXPECTED TO BE ON TIME AND FINISH ALL 6 GAMES.

We discourage players from withdrawing from the event once your slot is confirmed as this affects the other participants to complete a set of 4 players to play a doubles match. Please do not join if you cannot commit to the date and time of this event. No refund policy in effect within 24 hrs of the event.

All games will be uploaded in DUPR through Reclub.

PICKLEBALL HQ WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By participating in the use of the facilities, equipment, and services of PICKLEBALL HQ (FACILITY), I agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk:
I acknowledge and fully understand that participation in pickleball and other recreational activities at the Facility involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, equipment failure, heat stroke and potential exposure to communicable diseases, I voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown.
2. Release of Liability:
I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Pickleball HQ, its owners, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, losses, or liabilities for any injury, disability, death, or damage to person or property that may arise from or in connection with my use of the Facility or participation in any Facility-related activities, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
3. Indemnification:
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Pickleball HQ and its representatives from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of my participation in any activity at the Facility.
4. Medical Treatment:
In the event of an emergency, I consent to receive medical treatment deemed advisable by the Facility staff or emergency responders. I understand that I am responsible for all associated costs.
5. Photography/Video Release:
I grant permission for the Facility to use photographs or video taken of me for promotional or educational purposes without compensation.
6. Rules and Conduct:
I agree to abide by all posted rules and regulations of the Facility and to follow the instructions of Facility staff at all times.
