🥒Paddle Stacking Rules🥒
To ensure fair play and smooth rotations, please follow these rules. We run Social Courts plus one Challenge Court, with two separate paddle queues: Social and Challenge.
🎾 Social Courts
1. Two Games Each: Every team plays two consecutive games, win or lose. Each game is the holding team (on their 2nd game) vs the incoming team (on their 1st game). After the game, the holding team steps off and the incoming team becomes the new holding team.
2. Starting a Court: For the very first game on a court, the losing team steps off and the winning team stays as the holding team (this is only to start the rotation; the four players may rearrange pairs before this game).
3. Mixed Friendly Option: Before the game starts, either team may propose to swap partners (one player from each team per side) and play a friendly instead. The team that proposes concedes the game; the other team is credited with the win. The rotation then continues as normal — holding team steps off, incoming team stays for their 2nd game.
4. Stepping Off: Won both games → paddles go to the Challenge queue (or the Social queue if you prefer). Otherwise → back of the Social queue.
5. Paddle Placement: The next two paddles in a queue form a team. When you step off, you may place your paddles together (stay as a team) or apart (mix with others) — your choice.
🔥 Challenge Court
6. Entry: Teams with two wins in a row on a Social Court queue here. If nobody is waiting in the Challenge queue, the court is filled from the front of the Social queue — those players follow Challenge rules from the moment they step on. Don't want to wait? Move your paddles back to the Social queue anytime.
7. Winner Stays, Loser Drops: The losing team leaves and goes to the back of the Social queue. Win two in a row on a Social Court to come back.
8. Two in a Row: After winning two or more games in a row, step off only if another team is waiting in the Challenge queue — re-queue at the back of the Challenge queue (or go to the Social queue if you prefer). If nobody is waiting, keep playing.
🚩Important Note
Please note that any no-shows or cancellations on the same day will still require payment. Players who do not notify us of their absence and are missing in action (MIA) will no longer be welcome in our club.
Thank you for your understanding!
