Volleyworld: Reverse Co-Ed Sunday Volleyball

Priority are girls first then guys.

Girls can request to bring one guy to maintain a 1:1 ratio; if you dont have a female host, you will be waitlisted/approved as space allows. Please message me to update me on who your female host / male guest in order to be accepted.

Format:

•Reverse-Coed 6s - Male players can hit from the 10-foot line.

• Fun rule! When a male hitter is blocked by a female: the blocking team will earn 2 points!

• Rest of the normal rules and self-reffed games.

• Teams will be evened out by gender and mixed so players are not playing with the same people all the time.

HOW TO JOIN
To participate, please complete all of the following:
1. Request to join the open gym
2. Pay online: https://www.vexvolleyball.com/open-gyms
3. Sign the waiver for the location you are playing at:

Your spot is not confirmed until all steps are completed.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 24 hours of the event are non-refundable.

Fridays/Sunday at Roots/Crossover can grow.

When we hit 12 additional sign-ups 24 hours before the event, we open another court.

Early commitment = more space, more games.

Waiting until the last minute = we stay at the current setup.

BYOT (BRING YOUR OWN TEAM) GUIDELINES
If you have a full team.
1. Ensure all teammates have requested to join the event
2. Post your team roster in the event chat
3. Submit one payment for the entire team
4. Once confirmed, you will be assigned as team captain and can select or confirm your team color
If you do not have a full team, you will be listed as a free agent.
Free agents may coordinate with others in the request list to form teams
If you have a small group you’d like to stay with, message the event chat and a co-host will assist if possible
Team requests can be accommodated up to 1 hour before the event.

Requests made after that time are not guaranteed.

VOLLEYWORLD FACILITY RULES
No food, drinks, or gum on the court
No bags, drinks, or equipment left out — please store all items in the cubbies

CROSSOVER FACILITY RULES
No sharp objects of any kind are allowed on the court
No liquids except water are allowed on the court
No alcohol consumption at any time
No bags, drinks, or equipment placed on concrete surfaces
Do not enter or explore other venues (e.g., upstairs karate studios)

ROOTS FACILITY RULES
No food, drinks, or gum on the court
No players are allowed on courts or the area on the side of the courts until rental start time. They are welcome to stay in the lobby or use the half court if it is open.
Players need to take all of their belongings with them onto their court during play. Please do not leave personal items (bags/shoes/water bottles) sitting in lobby, hallways, or on the half court.
Play needs to end exactly at 11pm, and all players need to be out of the gym by 11:10pm so that staff can close.
