DUPR Open play @ Picklehall

A fun yet competitive pickleball open play event open to all DUPR rating levels! Players will be grouped according to similar ratings while also considering DUPR reliability scores to ensure balanced and exciting matchups.

We can accommodate up to 40 players maximum.

Important Reminders

1. Please make sure your DUPR account is synced with your Reclub account.
2. Ensure that your self-rating accurately reflects your current skill level.

Players will be ranked based on skill and assigned into groups accordingly. Matches will only be played within the same group.

✅ A minimum of 5 games is guaranteed for every player.


Game Format
- Rally point scoring to 21
- Sudden death at 20-all
- Court switch at 11 points
- Estimated game duration: 15–20 minutes

Games will not be officiated, so honesty, fairness, and sportsmanship are expected from all participants.

Attendance & Commitment

Once your slot is confirmed, you are expected to:
- Arrive on time! At least 30 mins before the game
- Complete all games assigned to you

Please avoid withdrawing once confirmed, as this affects scheduling and other participants’ matches. Kindly join only if you can fully commit to the event date and time.

No refunds once confirmed, but you may find a replacement for your slot.

All match results will be uploaded to DUPR through Reclub.

PICKLEHALLERS WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By participating in the use of the facilities, equipment, and services of Picklehall (Facility), I agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that participation in pickleball and related recreational activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, equipment failure, heat-related illnesses, and exposure to communicable diseases. I voluntarily assume all such risks, both known and unknown.

2. Release of Liability
I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, representatives, and next of kin, hereby release and discharge Picklehallers, its owners, employees, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising from my participation in any activity at the Facility, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

3. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Picklehallers and its representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or legal expenses resulting from my participation in activities at the Facility.

4. Medical Treatment
In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Facility staff or emergency responders to provide or arrange necessary medical treatment. I understand that I am fully responsible for any related medical expenses.

5. Photo & Video Release
I grant permission for Picklehallers to use photos or videos taken during the event for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes without compensation.

6. Rules & Conduct
I agree to follow all Facility rules, regulations, and staff instructions at all times and to conduct myself in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner.
