​⚙️ DUPR Match Format: Competitive Flighted Rotation | The Two-Phase Match Format

​We use a unique Competitive Flighting System to ensure fair play and maximize your rating accuracy:

Phase 1: Division Ladder (First 90 Minutes)
• ​Players compete strictly within their own division on their dedicated courts.
• ​Winners move up, losers move down. This establishes your rank for the night. You will spend the rest of the session playing opponents and partners who match your current skill level, which is the fastest way to earn DUPR confidence!

Phase 2: The Grand Crossover (Final 90 Minutes)
• ​For Genderless 3.0: The battle intensifies as the ladder locks in for the final push.
• ​For Men's (Below 3.0) & Women's Open: THE CROSSOVER! We mix these two pools together for inter-division battles. This is your chance to play Mixed Doubles against a completely new set of opponents to maximize your DUPR connectivity.


💯 Scoring System

• First Serve: Game starts with Rock, Paper, Scissors (winner serves first)
• Format: ​Standard DUPR Scoring to 11, Win by 1.
• Switch: Change court at the first pair who reached 6
• Sudden Death: No "win by 2" sliding! If the score reaches 10-10, the next point wins the game (Sudden death to 11).

• ​No Pressure: The goal is to gather data. Every match, win or lose, helps the system find your true rating.
• ​Fair Play: Since everyone is grouped by skill level, matches will be highly competitive and fun.
• ​Guidance: Our host will manage the rotation, explain the rules, and submit every score properly to DUPR.
