Coaching Certification Program – Certification Guidelines

To maintain the professional standards of ICA and Pickleball International all participants in the Coaching Certification Program must follow the guidelines below.

1. Program Attendance

Participants must attend all scheduled sessions of the certification program.

• Punctuality is required for every session
• Late arrivals may affect certification eligibility
• Absences must be reported to the program coordinator

2. Professional Conduct

All participants are expected to uphold the professional values of BKL Academy.

• Respect instructors, fellow coaches, and players
• Maintain professionalism during training and evaluation
• Demonstrate leadership and sportsmanship on and off the court

3. Training Participation

Active participation is required throughout the program.

Participants must:
• Engage in drills and coaching demonstrations
• Participate in discussions and technical learning sessions
• Show willingness to learn and apply coaching principles

4. Coaching Evaluation

To qualify for certification, participants must pass the official coaching assessment, which may include:

• Technical understanding of pickleball fundamentals
• On-court coaching demonstration
• Communication and player instruction ability
• Court management and training structure

5. Certification Approval

Participants who successfully complete the program and meet the evaluation standards will receive:

ICA AND PICKLEBALL INTERNATIONAL Coaching Certification

This certification recognizes the individual as a qualified coach under INTERNATIONAL coaching system.

6. Code of Representation

Certified coaches are expected to represent ICA AND PICKLEBALL INTERNATIONAL with professionalism and integrity when conducting training, clinics, or official activities.

Failure to maintain professional standards may lead to review or revocation of certification.
