After the amazing response to our first Pickleball for a Cause, we are bringing everyone back to the courts!

Due to public demand, this is our 2nd Pickleball for a Cause! Get ready for another afternoon of fun, friendly competition, new connections, and meaningful giving — all through the sport we love.

Whether you are new to pickleball or a seasoned player, this Open Play is your chance to play with different partners, meet fellow pickleball enthusiasts, reconnect with Immacordistas and their loved ones and friends, and make a difference in our community.

Players should already have a basic knowledge of pickleball rules and scoring so games can move smoothly.

🎾 GAME FORMAT

1. OPEN PLAY / QUEUE SYSTEM

There will be no paddle stacking.

Instead, players will be placed in a name queue and called by the admin when it is their turn to play. We will be using PICKLERLOBBY or PICKLEQ for transparency purposes.

2. BOYS & GIRLS — SEPARATE QUEUES

To make the rotation organized and fair:

👨 Boys will have their own queue (Courts 1-3).
👩 Girls will have their own queue (Courts 4-6).

Players will be called from their respective queues throughout the session.

3. RANDOM BUT BALANCED PARTNER ASSIGNMENT via APP

Partners will be randomly assigned for every round. Since your Dupr/Self-rating is stated, the app will randomly select your partner and match for a balanced game.

The goal is to give everyone the opportunity to:

* Play with different people
* Meet new players
* Experience different playing styles
* Keep the Open Play fun, social, and unpredictable

4. BLUE (Courts 1-3) and PINK (Courts 4-6) TEAM ASSIGNMENT

Players will be assigned as BLUE and PINK. They will rotate throughout the session and will play with and against different people.

5. AFTER EVERY GAME

After each game, players must approach the admin and provide:

* Players’ names
* Winning team/player
* Final score

The admin will record the result and place players into the appropriate queue for the next round.

Please do not leave the court area without reporting your result.

QUICK WARM-UP

Keep warm-up dinking short so everyone gets more playing time.

FIRST SERVE

Rock • Paper • Scissors determines the first serving team.

Starting score: 0–0–2

No play-for-serve.

GAME TO 11

First player/team to reach 11 points wins.

Whoever gets to 11 first wins.

🏆 END OF THE GAME

At the end of the Open Play, we will recognize the overall win-loss standings.

Best Players of the Day will also be awarded to the player who earns the highest PT%.

And because we believe pickleball should be about more than just winning, we have SPECIAL PRIZES for players. ❤️

Please:

* Arrive 20 minutes early for registration and court assignments.
* Bring your paddle, water, and towel.
* Listen for your name when players are being called.
* Proceed to your assigned court promptly when called.
* Do not request or reserve a specific partner.
* Keep every game fun, welcoming, and respectful.
* Practice good sportsmanship, regardless of the score.
* Help us keep the courts clean and take care of the facilities.
* Most importantly, have fun and meet new people!

💳 RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY

* Your slot is confirmed only upon payment.
* Slots are first-paid, first-served.
* No cancellations within 24 hours before the Open Play.
* If you can no longer attend, you may transfer or sell your slot to another player.
* Please inform the organizers in advance and provide the replacement player’s name and DUPR rating or self-rating.

By joining this event, you agree to the taking of photos and videos during the Open Play. These may be used by the organizers for documentation, social media, and future event promotions.
