👥 Team Composition

Total: 40 players

🇲🇾 GDC: 16 men + 4 women
🇯🇵 Japan Boleh!: 4 men + 16 women

Players from GDC and Japan Boleh! will be mixed to form 10 balanced teams of 4 players each (2 men + 2 women).

Team members will be decided by a lucky draw. 🎲

Team combinations:

• 8 teams: 2 GDC men + 2 Japan Boleh! women
• 2 teams: 2 GDC women + 2 Japan Boleh! men

The 10 teams will then be divided into two sides:

🐯 Harimau (Tora) Side: 5 teams / 20 players
🐻 Beruang (Kuma) Side: 5 teams / 20 players

Each 4-player team will compete not only for its own victory, but also to earn points for its Side.

So there will be two competitions happening at the same time:

🏆 Individual Team Competition
🐯🐻 Harimau vs Beruang Side Competition

🎾 Match Format

• Each 4-player team will play against all 5 teams from the opposite Side.
• Each team matchup consists of 2 mixed doubles matches.
• The first team to reach a combined total of 30 points wins the matchup.
• All points scored will also count toward the overall Harimau vs Beruang result.
• The Side with the higher total score at the end will be the Overall Champion. 🏆

🏆 Awards

🐯🐻 Overall Champion:
The winning Side, Harimau or Beruang

🏆 Team Champions:
The highest-scoring 4-player team from each Side
(2 winning teams / 8 players in total)

🎲 Team Draw

Target date: Tuesday, 15 September

The Top 10 players based on DUPR will be selected as team leaders.

The 10 team leaders will participate in the draw to determine their team members.

☑️ Participation Requirements

• Priority will be given to players who have joined GDC or Japan Boleh! sessions before.

• Players should be available to practice with their team members before the event.
Participation in GDC or Japan Boleh! sessions before the event is highly recommended.

• GDC sessions are held every weekday morning, with evening sessions on Thursdays and Fridays.

• Japan Boleh! also plans to organize weekday morning practice sessions before the event.

• Players should understand the basic rules of pickleball and have experience playing social games.
