Progression Match Play (Low Intermediate)

The Lumban Pickleball Club invites Low Intermediate players to join our Progression Match Play, a structured game-based session designed to help players improve consistency, decision-making, and overall match performance.

This level is ideal for players who already understand the basics of pickleball and can sustain rallies, but are still developing control under pressure, shot selection, and court positioning. The focus is on progress through real match experience in a balanced and supportive environment.

📌 What to expect:
- Structured match play with balanced pairings
- Rotating games to experience different playing styles
- Emphasis on consistency, positioning, and smarter shot selection
- Competitive but controlled game environment
- Opportunities to identify strengths and areas for improvement

📝 Important Note:

All match results will be recorded via Reclub and used to track player performance and generate rankings. Players will be able to view their standings as part of a developing club ladder system.

🤝 Who can join:
- Low Intermediate players
- Players who can rally consistently and understand basic strategy
- Players working on improving control, decision-making, and game awareness

🔢 Approx. rating: 2.6 – 3.4

- Understand rules and basic strategy
- Can sustain medium-length rallies with control
- Still inconsistent on dinks, volleys, and third shots
- Starting to position yourself better on court
- Can play structured games but still makes unforced errors under pressure

This session is designed to help you level up your game through meaningful match experience while building a clear pathway toward higher-level play.
