🪜 [ELITE COURT] SMP Ladder Night: Battle of the Throne

Looking for something more competitive than a social? A ladder game adjusts to your level as you play and makes sure you’re always matched at the right level. Win and move up a court, lose and move down — the challenge is to climb and hold your spot!

How It Works
▫️ Players: 22 players across 3 courts (6-8 per court)
▫️ 4 play while 2-4 wait. After each game, the players switch, so you’ll play one round, rest one round, then hop back in — fair, smooth, and consistent for everyone.
▫️Game Format: Games to 15 points. Sudden death at 14–14 (no serve to win).
▫️ Rotation
1. First-round matchups will be seeded using DUPR ratings, so players of similar levels start together.
2. Each court begins with 4 players.
3. At the end of a game, winners move up a court (or stay on King’s Court) while losers move down a court (or stay on Challenger’s Court).
4. After your game, head to your destination court and place your paddle in that court’s waiting stack.
▫️Fair Play Rule: Partners are always randomized each round for balanced matchups or allowed to stay with their fixed partners.

Don’t worry if the rules sound a bit much! We’ll guide you along the way.

👉 Open to all levels — the format balances itself out so beginners, intermediates, and advanced players all find the right competition.
